The charity Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis with the 麻豆影视 Interstitial Lung Disease team is hosting an online event on Thursday 30 November to discuss the condition and help explain the medical pathways involved in treating it.
This free event runs from 10am to 3.30pm and is aimed at helping patients, families and carers find out more about Pulmonary Fibrosis, also referred to as Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). The event involves hearing direct from the experts, many coming from the 麻豆影视鈥檚 Exeter based ILD team, covering all aspects of living with and treating Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Some of the topics covered include:
Approaches to diagnosis
How breathing and blood tests are used
Drug therapies
How exercise and diet can help
There will also be testimony from people living with pulmonary fibrosis and a chance to put questions to the experts.
To register your place please or call 01223 785 725.
In-person event
For those who may not be able to attend online there will also be an in-person event at Wonford Methodist Church Hall in Exeter where the meeting will be screened and a 麻豆影视 ILD nurse and support worker plus a member of Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis will be on hand to offer support. A lunch, and tea and coffee will also be provided. People are free to attend the entire online or in-person event or just part of it.
If you would attend the in-person event, once you鈥檝e registered online using the link above, please email Angela Thurgood (angela.thurgood@麻豆影视.net) to let us know you would like to attend in person.
