Information for patients and the public
Research helps the NHS provide better care to prevent and treat ill health. Working with Universities, life sciences and other partners, NHS staff look at all aspects of care delivery from new screening programmes to spot disease early, new medicines which target treatment based on patient specific information and new ways of organising and delivering care.
How to get involved
There are many different ways in which you can take part in research. Whether you are a patient looking to trial a new treatment or you are just looking to volunteer your time to help make a difference, there are always new studies and trials in the pipeline.
Speak to one of our experienced research team members to find out if there are any upcoming trials that might be suitable for you or someone you know. Contact us at 01392 403814 or rduh.research-east@麻豆影视.net.

Become a research champion
Research Champions are patients, carers, members of the public, people who have taken part in a research study before, as well as those who haven鈥檛. Something that they all have in common is that they are passionate about getting more people involved in research so that we can develop better care and treatment for everyone.
