Through our Extraordinary People Awards we aim to recognise and celebrate their efforts and achievements.

2023 awards

There are 11 categories in our awards, which link to our Trust values, celebrate excellent care and innovations, and recognise achievements that are helping us to deliver our Trust strategy.

Nominations closed on Sunday 24 September 2023. Nominations for most of the awards in our scheme came from staff and volunteers, but the Extraordinary Care category was open to patients and carers too.Ìý

Our winners will be announced at a special celebration event at the RILD at RD&E Wonford on 30 November.

	Extraordinary Care: celebrating individuals and teams who have gone over and above to provide excellent care (2 awards)		Living our Values: recognising champions of our values – compassion, integrity, inclusion and empowerment
	Extraordinary Collaboration and Partnership: recognising great partnership and integration work, both inside and outside the Trust		Extraordinary Colleague Support: recognising those who have shown significant support to colleagues and/or championed health and wellbeing
	Extraordinary Team: recognising excellent teamwork (2 awards)		Learner of the Year: recognising those who have made big achievements through their learning
	Extraordinary Leader: celebrating inspirational leaders		Extraordinary Volunteer: recognising exceptional commitment from volunteers
	Extraordinary Endeavour: celebrating colleagues who have made an extraordinary effort or achieved significant success to make a real difference (2 awards)		Exceptional Idea: recognising bright ideas and innovations
